The British Museum - Taking you through eras and continents London United Kingdom

British Museum

Taking you through TWO million years of world culture and history to showcase the world as it is shaped today. Travel through time on every continent and see how culture, history, art and language has been shaped by customs and sometimes, one another. Come to face with numerous priceless objects from different eras. From life size dinosaurs to an earthquake simulator, and everything in-between, this is a fun filled day for an individual or the family together.

Though the museum entry is free, it does need to be booked to avoid disappointment and long waiting in queues. Some exhibitions have a small entry fee. These periodically change and can be found on their website.
We recommend a minimum of 3-4 hours and a pair of comfortable shoes for the day.  Here is a map of the museums regular displays so that you can better plan your visit.
